Do you know what imaginal cells are?
When a caterpillar goes into a cocoon, it doesn’t just elongate, slim down, shed hair, sprout wings and become a butterfly. No, the caterpillar has a literal meltdown and becomes a sort of primordial soup. Cellular goo.
The goo is full of possibility and potential, but in its goo-ness (that’s a technical term 
), it is neither caterpillar nor butterfly. The cells of that goo are called imaginal cells. Between. Neither caterpillar nor butterfly, neither this nor that, but a third thing altogether.
As you’re reading this, perhaps a part of you can identify. For many people, old familiar ways of being are melting or have already melted away. And the new way of being is yet unformed.
We may well be living in a crucial place on the evolutionary timeline. It appears many humans are experiencing a personal meltdown of sorts. Like the caterpillar, the accustomed, habitual life is gone. We are not who we were, and we are yet to fully be who we are becoming.
But the goo, that primordial soup of our lives, is rich with dynamic possibilities.
It seems we’re being called, individually and collectively, to tap into that potentiality and begin to cooperate with Life in our own rebirth or evolution; to allow and flow with the NATURAL process of release and change and transformation, so that we may be free to expand into a more beautiful and elevated state.
Transform + imaginal = Transformaginal
These words may be a reminder to you that you’re finally ready to let go of the old and allow something new to emerge, within and without. This may feel a bit like a message from your Self to your self.
